Great to see all of these Barcelona games on Youtube. Just wish the commentator was someone different. Is it someone who has English as their second language maybe. Legit question because he seems to emphasize words and phrases, in the wrong positions and his totally crazy way of pronouncing the players names. I do understand that sometimes the letter "s" can sound like a "th" and the letter "v" can sound like a "b", but the way he says the referee as "Sanchith Martinith" and Luis Suarez as "Luis Swarith". This is some kind of nonsense where the commentator is taking liberties with the pronounciation to sound a bit more cosmopolitan and hip. A proper commentator from the UK would pronounce the names as they look and not try and sound as they were bilingual. I have heard Luis Suarez on an interview where he clearly says his name as Luis Suarez. His ex-Liverpool team mates refer to him as this also.
I don't know why this is so annoying? Maybe because I like watching Barcelona with English commentators who aren't trying to come across as someone in the inner circle who knows something we don't.
Even Ray Hudson on Meth would be better than this guy.
