Gunners boss Unai Emery is keen to sign the Spanish midfielder, however, Arsenal can only complete loan deals this month due to a lack of funds. And Sheth has opened up on Suarez heading to the Emirates, claiming Barca are only willing to complete a loan deal if there is a promise of making it permanent this summer. Sheth said on the Transfer Talk podcast: “Arsenal want him but it’s clear that Arsenal can only do loans, as Emery has explained in the last couple of weeks. “They want to do a loan for Barcelona’s Denis Suarez, he’s got 18 months left on his contract. “Barcelona, actually, are reluctant sellers but if they were going to do a loan with Arsenal, they would want some sort of guarantee of a permanent deal coming up in the summer. “They value him at around £20m and perhaps most significantly and most importantly, Suarez wants Arsenal.” Arsenal boss Emery was asked for an update on the Gunners’ pursuit of Suarez last week, with the Spaniard revealing a deal is in the works. “The club is working,” he said when asked for an update. “I cannot speak about individual players, but I know the club is working. “I believe they work, I know it is difficult. “If one player is coming, I am happy. I am going to wait.” Arsenal beat Chelsea 2-0 on Saturday evening to close the gap on the Blues in fourth to just three points. Emery’s men are back in action on Friday night against Manchester United in the FA Cup fourth round.

I have been a gooner since1956 so i do have some authority and know my football, i watch the boys tevery week on television , i also watch a lot of local and senior clubs in my now native Spain.Please take my word on this, there is a very good reason that Barca do not play Suarez, he simply is not good enough.He does however meet the current Arsenal criteria , he is cheap and it gives them a smoke screen to cover their shortfall.There is only one problem at Arsenal and that is the pathetic owner ,Kronke, but do not blame him for the situation, remember he was sold the remaining shares by hill – ward etc, he only views our team as a sacred cow and the people allowing him to buy the club knew that, they also just wanted the money.Kronke in America has form, he buys sports clubs that are capable of being mid table because they still get him money for his investment without little risk to his outlay, football fans should be known by their actual description , MUGS.
If we sign this mediocre player he will not cope with the EPL he is not strong enough and lacks speed, certainly not a good decision.We will never be anything other than a second rate team struggling in second tier of British football, do not let the Chelsea result give you any other ideas of being better.
Get him for loan first and pay 20mil for full estimation in next transfer. It is not that bad, worth considering because our dire need of winger immediately and club owner won't budge his paying structure.
Next step is to sell Ozil for next year transfer considering his lack compatible in Emery squad and extend Ramsey contract this summer for his adaptability .
