I wanted to bring you some updates on Dembélé & Arthur guys. Let me know your thoughts on how you see our midfield looking in 2020?

Douglas Taggart says:

Vidal is probably looking at the situation and questioning what more he has to do to make the starting XI. I don't blame him.

Dwayne Mckoy says:

Barca need to sell dembele smh side don't need him kmt

Adil Mouhammed says:

Barca Midfield needs the Iron Man Rokitij. Without him the Midfield is just parking lot.

Bbuzzin 19NineTy says:

Loan out younger players with much potential and play Suarez 90+ minutes. Brilliant idea. Rip BARÇA

Anowai Ugochukwu says:

With this Formation and Strategy Valverde is using to play big teams , I don't see Barcelona winning this Champions League!!!

Salman Saho says:

Vidal afto stay

Salman Saho says:

I miss you Dembele
I no is not your fault
may Allah help you to get well ?

Sanooj Shajahan says:

Arthur is suffering from Gonorrhoea and undergoing punishment for his misdeeds. He should have kept his professionalism. That is why there is no certainty about his injury and his issues.

Anirudh Nair says:

Is there a reason why the board is insistent on thinning our squad even further? Nice line about joining that club with grievances about Valverde. Like Shrek said, “We’ve got jackets.” Or maybe it’s time we get them. And wear them on a regular basis. What do you reckon it will take to bid Don Ernesto adieu?

The Fútbol Follower says:

I Would Keep Vidal, & Sell Rakitić.

ASK ; says:

I want Rakitic gone. I don't want Vidal to go, that guy is a real warrior. But if he goes Alena must STAY…

Marko Stefanovic says:

we actually need a destroyer-type player like Vidal in midfield, a warrior that runs box to box..sense our defense is so lack luster this season we need him as he is good at defense and he showed quite well that his attack prowess is very good as well. he seems to have linked very well with Messi in particular, that very few players achieved in my opinion. alba/alves/neymar like connection with Messi.

David says:

Would much rather prefer Rakitic to be sold this January instead of Arturo Vidal but either departure is fine by me. Hope that we can make some changes this summer to thin out our crowded midfield and focus on the development of our younger players who are full of talent. In 2020 I want to see more of De Jong, Arthur Melo, Carles Aleña, and Riqui Puig.

Vidal – A great box to box player, high energy, certainly adds a lot to the team but lets be honest, he was never a long term purchase. He wasn't purchased to be a starter either so I not sure why he is pulling these temper tantrums like a 5 year old child. He knew his role before he joined so he should just stick to it. If he decides to leave then all the best to him.
Dembele – Would have been useful against Madrid, just like how he would have been useful for the second leg against Liverpool. He would have been a great "release valve" with his pace after absorbing all the pressure. Sadly he's been missing in most of Barcelona important games due to injury. Sorry to say but Barcelona may need to cut their losses with Dembele. They can't just keep him because he has "potential".
Arthur – A big miss against Madrid. Once fit he should be a starter and only dropped to the bench for "rest and rotation". Lets hope his recovery goes well.
Alena – Should be given more playing time. It's a shame that Barcelona doesn't seem to truth their "home grown" players like once upon a time.

Stuart Graham says:

Regarding Vidal; What kind of team are we when the player with the most passion and heart isn't considered a regular starter. Vidal may not be born and bred Barca but i feel he gives everything on the pitch when we plays and he ignites the pace of the players around him. We should be fighting to keep him, not looking to off load him.
