Redd Jton says:

I can see Pique selling vegetables in the market 9 to 5 …

McRib Prime says:

The players shouldn’t have a freaking say in it.
I think when all this is over we vote on these disgraceful actions with our wallets and stop going to matches; never happen no one will care and people will continue to defend their selfish antics regardless.

Brilly West says:

In fairness most people in the world have lost there jobs due to covid 19. Theses players need a reality check and be greatful they still have a job to go back to. 70% of these player's wages is still more than some peoples yearly wage. Everyone should be happy to come out of this situation with there loved ones in full health. Not worrying if theyll get 20,000 per week over 300,000 per week. Im sure 90% of them are multi millionaires already and can do wothout any wage

Jr says:

Real Madrid laughing at this rn ?

R R says:

Messi to Man Utd.

Ronaldo + Haaland
Bruno + Messi + Sancho
McTominay
Shaw + Maguire + Koulibaly + Bissaka
Romero

Trade Martial, DeGea and Pogba to raise financing. Sell Mata, Lingard, Fred, Dalot, Pereira and Jones. Keep Rashie, Greenwood, Bailly, Lindelof, Williams and Matic.

Jo Nightwing says:

royal yunus says:

How did u guys cme to notice the Luis Suarez books …..l only noticed them after reading the comments

VatologyArg says:

Why does he have 2 copies of the Luis Suarez book???

Jorge Castro-Quintanilla says:

This is the boards fault and not the players to blame. The board handed out the contracts believing they could afford to. The players have a right to receive that money regardless of their performance because that’s how contracts work. This is a lack of awareness from the board.

Filippo Piovano says:

Will Bartomeu and the board be taking a pay cut also? I highly doubt it.

soccersensation says:

Other clubs in Spain and around the world are doing the same thing. I assume the problem is the amount being 70%. I"m not sure what % the other clubs have proposed. As mentioned in the video, it'll be only for 5 to 6 weeks (unless it is extended) so i don't see the big problem.

Ammanuel says:

The elites always manage to differ those below them to foot the bill….why are the corporations and affiliates who run clubs take a pay cut?

Curtis Charles says:

The entire freaking world is getting pay cuts right now because businesses are closed down. What these guys are Gods? They aren't humans? They aren't working? The clubs are not making money at present. Also these guys are some of the highest paid players in the entire sporting fraternity..some of you are dumb minions .

Legionnaire Gonk says:

Cut their salaries down 50% People in Spain are living on thin air, and are losing their jobs, businesses and homes. Not too much for millionaire footballers taking a mere half salary cut. Selfish bastards..

AbsoluteXXIV says:

I would go ahead with the pay cut regardless and in a few months when we start seeing news of certain players wanting out of their contracts, then we know who the grobby bastards who didn't want a pay cut are…

I think it's absolutely childish from these pricks who get paid millions but can't sacrifice a few months wages….i'm very curious to see who is against this pay cut.

Messi is probably one of them, since this club doesn't fart without his okay.

W. says:

70%…thats steep. I was thinking 30% to 40%

lousan says:

Stupidity seems contagious too.
