This is the boards fault and not the players to blame. The board handed out the contracts believing they could afford to. The players have a right to receive that money regardless of their performance because that’s how contracts work. This is a lack of awareness from the board.
Will Bartomeu and the board be taking a pay cut also? I highly doubt it.
Other clubs in Spain and around the world are doing the same thing. I assume the problem is the amount being 70%. I"m not sure what % the other clubs have proposed. As mentioned in the video, it'll be only for 5 to 6 weeks (unless it is extended) so i don't see the big problem.
The elites always manage to differ those below them to foot the bill….why are the corporations and affiliates who run clubs take a pay cut?
The entire freaking world is getting pay cuts right now because businesses are closed down. What these guys are Gods? They aren't humans? They aren't working?
