Being a pundit is a ridiculous job on its own merit but some of them are laughable.

I think it is not completely Valverde his fault. I think a lot of fans hoping for the one touch football of Xavi and Iniesta area coming back. The problem is the system they play. This system is based on that area. I think if you would switch to the Ajax system Ajax was playing when reaching the semi finals last year it would suit way better. With this system you can put De Jong on his favourite position, Busquets can play a simular role on the other side. You can put Messi in the same role as he plays now or like Ziyech was playing. De Jong and Busquets can support the defense more. As a number 10 you can put someone there with more offensive intentions like Vidal. I think it will work way better.

Valverde should have been sacked the day after he cost Barca the 2019 ECL; losing a 3-goal lead to Liverpool was unforgivable! You beat Liverpool in the semi and certainly Spurs in the final.
