ESPN FC’s Gab Marcotti, Steve Nicol and Craig Burley react to Lionel Messi’s Instagram post which featured a very public criticism of sporting director Eric Abidal. Marcotti explains how it could all play out between the two former teammates and says that “Messi took a very, very serious step in going after Abidal in public.” The crew try to make sense of Messi’s decision to not keep things internal by taking to social media to air his grievances and question if this could be his last season with Barcelona.

Ever since they sold Neymar. Stupid decision
Bla, bla, bla! The truth is that ESPN doesn't know anything about what's going on in Barca! These clowns are spewing BS without FACTS!

Success or not, would love to see Messi in the EPL.
just imagine a Barcelona without Messi. it’ll upset a lot of Barca fans
Messi go play with Cristiano! Please!
