FC Barcelona trained at Hard Rock Stadium one day before facing Napoli on the same pitch
MIAMI, Florida — Two years after beating Real Madrid in the famous Miami Clásico of the summer of 2017, Barça were back at Hard Rock Stadium for their first session involving all 26 members of the squad that traveled to the United States this week for the second leg of the team’s summer tour.
Four of the 26 players — Coutinho, Arthur, Arturo Vidal, and Iñaki Peña — trained in the morning at Barry University, and were back out on the field at Hard Rock in the evening with the rest of their teammates.
Bayfront Park was the center of the Barça universe for four hours on Tuesday, with music and a great atmosphere accompanied by five players from the first team
Also enjoying the night were Club president Josep Maria Bartomeu, the directors Marta Plana and Javier Bordas, the CEO Òscar Grau, the Technical Secretary Éric Abidal, and the Barça Ambassador Juliano Belletti, among many others.
The evening included unforgettable performances from Play N Skillz and Pedro Capó, whose Calma is one of this summer’s biggest hits and who took to the stage with José Manuel Pinto, the former Barça goalkeeper and current musician, who popped up on stage just before the end.
Meanwhile, the players tossed out hats, scarves, balls, and other gifts to the screaming fans who had waited hours to see them and who went home with a Miami memory they’ll never forget.
