i think there’s nothing wrong with starting messi, he’s back, he’s strong we need a push forward and support from him as a boost to the team and hopefully get started on that race for the la liga (;
If Messi is fully fit, then I will PUT HIM OUT THERE FROM THE START, he could be substituted at 70mins. It wouldn’t make sense if we go a goal down at camp nou and expect Messi to come in, perform a magic and win the match (that would add more stress to him).
As for Suarez, I think he still has a little time at camp now, maybe 2 more season.
Honestly, I still don’t understand how Neymar, Greiz, Dembele, Suarez and Messi can fit into same team.
I think Barca should cash in on Dembele and work towards promoting a fantastic youngster from La Massia.

To be honest, Messi is Messi. He can do more than what preseason can give him. He's the of football. Yes I hate Valverde and I would like to see him sacked. But regarding Messi status I would start him straight away no problem
This is a really hard think about saying about starting on the bench but I think he should start on the bench because if they Real Betis scores a goal and he comes on and changes the game completely

Barcelona are gradually heading towards their grave they dug(and are still digging) by themselves. To me, Valverde should have left instead of Coutinho. If Roma was a mistake (2 seasons ago) then I guess Liverpool was a vindication. Neymar coming to Barcelona won't make much difference if the coach remains. The strength of every Barcelona team I have known since the Johan Cruff revolution has always lie in their beautiful and possession based football which various dutch coaches that have handled the club down the years has followed and which was epitomized by Pep Guardiola. Valverde is gradually destroying that culture and blue print. The Fans and Board aren't seeing that, instead it's Neymar they're trying to acquire. Furthermore, I guess it's time to break away from this "messi centric" idea also. It's killing the team. It's make so many good players come to the squad and not ending well (with Neymar an exception). So, I guess Barca should rethink and make the right decisions else, they will return back to the way they were before the Ronaldinho era.
