Figo became the new focus of the Barcelona–Real Madrid rivalry, with Barcelona fans feeling betrayed by his transfer and turned against him.

Fans need to realise that players are allowed to leave the club , it's probably not anything personal , there's loads of reasons why players leave , look at Ronaldo he went from sporting Lisbon then to Manchester United , then Real Madrid now at juventus but then again he never actually went to a rival club like tevez did when he went for city from united, I know football can more to others than rest but football clubs are businesses and it allows players to grow when they're allowed to leave
