Look either we weren't clinical or the gk was just too good. One thing I was concerned about was why play dembele on the left and coutinho on the right? Valverde is aware of their fav areas. Overall my main concern is valverde doesn't work well under stress.
I think the win will give us more confidence. We'll do good this season.
I really, really think that Messi has become more dangerous with his free kicks. He can shoot under the wall, top corners, everywhere. It'll be difficult for opponents to stop him.
Dembele was very encouraging. He looked more confident and more willing to try stuff. He's moving the ball a lot quicker too, there was a moment towards the end of the first half where he linked up well with Suarez and Alba and he got a good chance to score. He just needs to work on his composure when going for the killer pass or when trying to finish past the GK, especially when it's a 1 on 1 type of thing.
why messi never decline,normally players have 1 or 2 bad years per career but all messi seasons have been equally good

Messi makes the impossible rudimentary
about time they play the tactics and formation we've been screaming and demanding for the last year and a half. Messi on the right is just fine…Messi can play anywhere and that gives him the freedom to roam without it affecting any of the other front three. Messi is just incredible…we are so lucky to see someone like him, a freak of nature, an ambassador of time and space…every pass, every touch, every decision is so brilliant…. wish he would've had this type of team around him in the World Cup….
First game and three point it amazing Messi free kick was fantastic to watch the team was playing attractive food ball they must keep it up so they can win treble cup this year

With denis, busquets and arthur (once he fits in) in the midfield. And the regular defenders plus mats.
Dembele is good but he has to work a lot to be a star in Barca. I think Coutinho is far better than Dembele. Suarez wasn't good last night and Messi……….I don't know how to describe him till the last second he was hungry for goal. I am astonished seeing his hunger and creativity. Visca el Barca

That guy time and time again proves that he can do magical stuff… I want to say this, I think Semedo and roberto kinda don't work together… I think its because roberto has played RB for a longtime that he sometimes mixes up with semedo and Right wing play is not as effective as it should be…
