Boom! What just happened? Seemingly everything was done for Malcom to join AS Roma but Barça hijacked the deal last minute and the young Brazilian will instead play in the Blaugrana shirt. I’ve never watched the lad play, but I’ve heard good things about him and a little bit of competition in the winger slot is never wrong. 12 goals and 8 assists for the 21 year old in the previous season, along with 87 key passes (as many as Messi). I much prefer Malcom for €40M than Willian for the rumored €80M as well, so in that sense this is a really nice surprise.
