LOL as a United fan I wish this was true, but as if Barcelona would want anything to do with Paul Pogba. I will bet my life savings that club goes no where near him. It's just nonsense created by the Spanish media to sell papers. Pogba is like a center midfield version of the former Betis player Denilson. Has all the skill and the tricks and looks great in highlight videos, but week in week out he plays completely for himself All style and no substance. Sure you get the Hollywood passes, the great strength and balance, the odd good goal, but what does it all really amount to in the end, but "highlights" and then when he's not in the mood you just don't see him and tactically he just strolls about and leaves holes everywhere. Even in his good games the ones where he has maybe 3-4 Hollywood passes and a few eye catching bits of skill, strength or balance, he never really controls the midfield like truly world class midfielders do.
Then there's the stinkers, which have happened at a conservative guess 10-15 games a season for the last two years. Complete anonymity. Idiots can moan about Mourinho and the "system" all they want, but the fact is truly world class midfield players down the years at any club just didn't have 10-15 bad games plus a season and didn't need excuses made for them. Just because Deshcaumps got a few good games out of him at world cup where he played in a system for the team that does not mean he will do that week in and week out at club level and I guarantee you Barcelona know this. He's a big time charlie who has to be the star of the show and if that''s not going his way, he looses his bottle. What made actual world class midfield players like Xavi, Pirlo, Scholes, Keane, Viera, Zidane, iniesta ect… ect, truly great, is that even when they didn't stand out. regardless of anything else, they did the simple things better than the average player and they did it week in and week out, season after season. Pogba is just incapable of doing that.

Neymar was in the center before but now Mbabpe is in the center. RealMadrid was certain to acquire him and thus they sold Ronaldo, but now Murinho cuts right in making it harder for RM to get him. See how all these big transfers centers around Murinho. I won't be surprised if Mbabpes acquisition will cost the club 300 mill. Straight out Barca won't bid for him. His contract with PSG will end next year, why is every club not willing to wait a year and gambling that high.

Barcelona don’t need another midfielder. They need another striker. All they have is Suarez and Paco Alcacer. Messi can play as a center forward but he’s best as a right winger or attacking midfielder. Since they couldn’t get Griezmann I say they should go after Icardi. Or maybe go for a young player like Fiete-Arp or Pinamonti

Neymar is a lot of a diver but he is not overrated. Even if in the world cup he spent a hell of a lot of time on the ground he also created the most goalscoring chances for his teammates (17 if i remember correctly) despite going out in the quarters
