Not a Messi fan but had played in era of pele or maradona, his natural skills would easily put defenders out. Now it’s not that easy as football has evolved a lot.

It was one goal when Argentina was forgiven at least two reds cards (Otamendi and Mercado), never mind how playing with 9 would have affected when they were trailing the result.
